Proxy Centre provided accreditation for the participants of the International Forum "Arctic: Today and the Future"
VIII International Forum "Arctic: Today and the Future" was held in St. Petersburg in the largest russian congress and exhibition center "Expoforum" from 5th to 7th December. Proxy Centre completed a complex of works on accreditation of participants of the Forum and access control to the venue.
The company has fully taken on the technical and personnel support of the accreditation process. Around 22 workplaces of accreditation operators equipped with the necessary equipment and software were created. The company's specialists have developed a module of online accreditation and registration of participants, which was synchronized with the existing database of Forum participants. Employees of Proxy Centre LLC hired and trained accreditation operators in advance. During the Forum, Proxy Centre specialists and involved employees met event guests, promptly issued accreditation badges and packages of participants, provided comprehensive information about the event. The accreditation point has been working for three days - from 4th to 6th December, more than 1,500 people were accredited at the Forum.
The company organized two access control lines using turnstile systems for people with different types of accreditation in Pavilion H of the convention-and-exhibition centre Expoforum. All seven access control points were equipped with RFID readers, which made the control procedure quick and efficient.
The forum, organized by the Interregional Public Organization “Association of Polar Explorers”, was attended by delegates from the Arctic regions of Russia and more than two dozen other countries, including all the countries participating in the Arctic Council. The participants discussed the updated version of the draft law on the development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, the operation of the Northern Sea Route and plans for the construction of new icebreakers, the protection of the ecology of the northern regions, the development of infrastructure projects, the protection of rights of indigenous peoples, the youth policy in the Arctic. During the plenary sessions, panel discussions and round tables, over 350 speakers presented their solutions.
