The company "Proxy Centre" took part in the World's largest exhibition for the MICE industry IBTM World
Proxy Centre delegation took part in the exhibition IBTM World - the world's largest business platform for the organizers of forums, congresses, exhibitions and other business events, which was held in Barcelona.
The exhibition was attended by more than 15,000 MICE professionals (business tourism, organization of congresses, forums and exhibitions) from more than 150 countries. The venue of the event was Fira Barcelona exhibition complex - one of the largest congress and exhibition centers in Europe, which was opened in 1932. The business program of the exhibition-forum included 54 sessions, where representatives of the global MICE-industry shared their experience and discussed the development of the industry.
During the business program, the delegation of the company "Proxy Centre" got acquainted with the latest trends in access control and accreditation technologies for large-scale events; current trends in the application of virtual reality and augmented reality technologies at exhibition and congress events; modern approaches to the arrangement of the congress space, and to the provision of catering services for participants at high-level. Fact-finding negotiations with convention bureaus and technology companies of Kazakhstan, France, Belgium, Spain, Great Britain were held.
Negotiations with the Russian Convention Bureau (RCB) were held on the sidelines of IBTM World, during which the substantive work of the Proxy Centre as a member of the RCB in the regular specialized working sections of the RCB was discussed.
"We pursued two goals by participating in IBTM World. The first is to get acquainted with the most advanced approaches and tools used by world leaders of organizing congresses, exhibitions and other business events," said Sergey Lazutkin, the director of Proxy Centre. - "The second goal is to present the company at the world level. The transportation service of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia proves that the company is capable of efficiently serving world-wide events organized by international organizations such as FIFA. This creates conditions for entry into the global market of event management, in full accordance with the state policy of Russia to promote non-resource exports."
